About the recipe for the 3 Melon Juice Mix

There’s not much to say regarding the recipe, and that’s because all the job and taste are made by the 3 types of melons. The most important thing I want to tell you is that you need to drink it immediately, and not let the juice stand not even for an hour. Not even the freezer can’t sustain the fresh-made taste… When freshly made it tastes nice, but when left for some time (a few hours) it gets bitter.

Melon Juice Health Benefits

As you are accustomed to my recipes, the health benefits are important, therefore I write the most important ones (at least). Is any melon too high in sugar?

Milk and melons should not be eaten together because milk is a laxative and melon diuretic. Milk requires more time for digestion. Moreover, the stomach acid required to digest the melon causes the milk to curdle, so I advise not to drink milk and melon juice mix, at least for 4 hours in between.

 

 

How do you know when the melon is bad when shopping or after you kept it for more than a week?

I’ll quote leaf.tv in this matter:

If the melon is still whole, it develops soft spots and bruises that become increasingly prominent. The entire melon gets soft and eventually becomes unable to hold its shape. You might notice liquid seeping out through the rind, and the melon gives off an unpleasant odor. The flesh becomes darker orange and mushy too.

I would not recommend consumption of melon or any fruit after 7 pm. The melon is slightly acidic and if consumed at night, it may delay the process of digestion when the body is inactive. The best time to eat melon is around 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM when the digestion rate is high and active.
