About Chicken Breast with Ranch Dressing Recipe

One day I was wondering what to cook next. I opened my freezer and found some chicken breast standing there to be prepared. But what recipe should I choose? There are a lot of them in my cookbook. I also found in my freezer this ranch dressing, and that’s when I remembered this dish. When you know so many recipes, it’s harder to choose what to prepare for dinner. I ask my husband many times what he wants for dinner, and that’s because I can’t decide what to do, I like everything :)). If you want to make ranch dressing, try this recipe for homemade ranch sauce. This ranch chicken is worth your while.

The History of Ranch Dressing

In the early 1950s, plumber Steve Henson developed what is now known as ranch dressing while working as a contractor for three years in the remote Alaskan bush.

HiddenValley.com says: It was 1954. Steve Henson, a cowboy from Nebraska, and his wife Gayle purchased 120 acres of sprawling land nestled in the mountains outside of Santa Barbara, California, and started a dude ranch. Over the years, Steve had been perfecting a salad dressing recipe and would mix up the tangy blend of buttermilk, herbs and spices for his guests. The result: They loved it — and Hidden Valley Ranch dressing was born.
