About Strawberry Smoothie recipe
The strawberry season doesn’t last long, but you can make this drink almost all year long because you find strawberries in the supermarket. If you do not find fresh strawberries, you can try the frozen ones (not the exact taste, but will do). I like the most to drink this kind of smoothie during hot summer days, being a great way to indulge and refresh yourself. Sometimes I replace the morning coffee with it. It has only 3 key ingredients (to learn how to make it, see steps): strawberries, milk, and strawberry yogurt. If desired, you can add some ice to make it even more refreshing.
What are the health benefits of strawberry smoothie?
Due to the high content of minerals (iron, potassium, phosphorus, calcium) and trace elements (zinc, sulfur, iodine), strawberries have tonic properties. The small strawberry seeds prevent constipation and contain soluble fibers that lower cholesterol in the blood.
