Anyway, if you didn’t taste this kind of dish before, cook it and let me know if you like it (I’m sure you’ll have a positive opinion). If you like this recipe, another great one with a different flavor than you’re accustomed to is the Teriyaki Chicken & Couscous, probably the best Asian recipe you’ll ever taste. These two recipes are great substitutes (alternatives) if you are bored with cooking the same meals every day. From time to time, it is recommended to switch between cuisines and cooking styles in order to feed your cooking curiosity.
The recipe is easy to follow and has few ingredients, making it a cheap dish to prepare. The dijon mustard and parmesan will give a great flavor to chicken breasts, not needing to add any other ingredient… it is just perfect the way it is here.

Side dish – serve with..
Because chicken breast with Dijon mustard & parmesan has few ingredients and is easy to prepare, regarding the side dish, keep it simple. You can change things up with any salad (including summer ones, or greek), or add some oven-baked potatoes. If you search for a special side dish, look for ones that include potatoes. I also tried avocados, and the combo was great for my taste.
Is it good for weight loss?
Well, that depends. If you have a strict slimming diet, it is not very recommended, but if you have a light weight-loss program to follow, it is very good to add chicken breasts with dijon mustard and parmesan. Mustard and chicken breasts are great to lose belly fat. Therefore, you can prepare without a doubt.
Notes and Tips
- Essential Equipment: a shallow microwavable dish or pie pan, rectangular pan (about 13 × 9 inches).
- For recipe success, pat rinsed chicken until it’s very dry before dipping it into the margarine mixture, or the coating will not adhere.
- For the best taste, you need six skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, about 1/4 pound each. Pick the meat with the farthest expiration date!
