1 Lb. Ground Beef
1 finnley chopped Onion medium size
1/2 Can Tomato Sauce 14-16 oz
4 oz. Frozen Green Beans
1 Cup Finley Grated Mozzarella Cheese
1 tablespoon Salt
1 tablespoon Pepper
Variation
1 Cup Cheddar Cheese instead of Mozzarella you can use them both Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese

Steps for Delicious Ground Beef with Mozzarella

Prepare the Ground Beef with Onion

In a large frying pan brown the 1 lb. Ground Beef and one medium size Onion. Cook over medium temperature, breaking up with a wooden spoon until the meat is no longer pink. This step usually takes 8 to 15 minutes, depending on the meat and how unfrozen it is.

Add the Tomato Sauce and Green Beans

After the pink color of the beef disappeared, add 1/2 Can of Tomato Sauce and 4 oz. of Green Beans. Keep cooking for another 3 to 5 minutes. Also, add Salt and Pepper to taste.

Ground Beef and Mozzarella

Place the ground beef and the other ingredients from STEP 2 in a casserole dish and cover the whole thing with 1 Cup of Grated Mozzarella or Cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 Degrees for about 30 minutes. Bon appétit!

The Mozzarella added before cooking will make the casserole dish sinfully rich, with better flavor, and oh so gooey. Ground beef is popular as a quick-cooking form of beef, but it also is very tasteful and is used as a common ingredient around the world. The Mozzarella is added to give the ground beef a unique flavor as it does to Italian Lasagna. I have used mozzarella instead of any other kind of cheese because it does not hide the taste of the ground beef. Instead, it adds a neutral flavor.

 

 

Small variations of Ground Beef with Mozzarella recipe

Instead of Mozzarella, you can use Cheddar cheese, depending on what you like the most. This recipe is made for ground beef with Mozzarella, but some people use both Mozzarella and Cheddar cheese in the casserole dish, for a more tasteful flavor. Whether you like it with just one cheese or with both, you can be certain will like it!

In this recipe, I used frozen green beans but you can add fresh green beans as the taste will not change too much, the only thing it will change is the cooking time. After you take out the casserole from the oven, you can also add some Parmigiano to intensify the taste.
