Why would I choose a Sandwich with Steak and Red Pepper?

Steak may not be the first choice of those who want to keep their body shape or maintain their health by avoiding fat. However, meat is the basis of foods with the largest nutritional qualities of protein and iron. The steak can be seasoned with spices and herbs such as cumin, curry powder, rosemary, sage, dill, basil, garlic, thyme, fennel, chili sauce or/and paprika.

Regarding the taste, I chose the ingredients carefully and balanced the amount of them, to give the best flavor with every bite. Another great thing about this sandwich is the aspect and composition. Regarding the aspect of it, the sandwich with steak and red pepper it is made of steak mostly and have pops of color thanks to the pepper (for a better design, besides red pepper, you can add yellow and green pepper) and herbs. Depending on how you’ll cut the steak (lengthwise, cubes, or whole), it will make the difference between a standard design and a great one.

Why Red Peppers in the recipe?

It is good to know that the best fat burner is the hot red pepper itself. The crispy red pepper next to the steak gives it a flavor that delights the taste buds for those who love to eat spicy foods. Red peppers are considered one of the healthiest ingredients in the world, and it is also used as an ingredient in the preparation of desserts. Mexicans, Chinese, and Turks, prefer spicy foods based on red peppers.

Variation for sandwich with steak and red pepper

I don’t really recommend using this variation, but if you like another type of meat or you have yellow or green pepper already in your kitchen, you can use what you have. For example, If you want pork meat, use green pepper, and if you want chicken meat just use yellow pepper.

You can also add mushrooms to fill the composition, but by doing so, don’t add the green and yellow peppers to beautify the design. Keep it as simple as you can! You can also substitute the Mozzarella with cheddar or Gouda cheese, but the taste will change dramatically because the mozzarella has a null flavor and the other types of cheese add more flavors.

I am a Vegetarian, can I substitute the meat?

The good news regarding this sandwich is it can be easily transformed into a vegetarian one. Just substitute the meat with mushrooms and soy meat or any other kind of vegan meat substitute. By doing so, replace the mozzarella with cheddar cheese.
